Speaker of the Ohio House Clifford A. Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) today announced that Bill Dean has been sworn in as state representative of the 74th House District.


“The 74th House District made it clear this past March when Bill Dean was elected as the district’s Republican candidate for state representative that he was the right man for the job,” said Speaker Rosenberger. “The Ohio House has done its due diligence to the people of the district by appointing Dean to the open seat, and I look forward to working closely with him.”


Dean is a retired plumber and small business owner of Dean’s Plumbing, which he started over 26 years ago. Dean resides in Xenia with his wife Pamela and they have 10 children together.


The 74th Ohio House District is comprised of all of Madison County and portions of Clark and Greene counties.

Biennial Budget Clears Ohio House With Bipartisan Support

Today, the Ohio House of Representatives passed Amended Substitute House Bill 64, the biennial state budget bill that allocates funding to schools, community projects and government initiatives as well as providing significant tax relief to all Ohioans and small businesses in the state.
