State Representative Christina M. Hagan (R-Alliance) today announced Hannah Oswald as the 50th House District winner of the 2016 Ohio House of Representatives Student Art Exhibition.

Hannah Oswald attends Lake High School in Hartville and is taught by Charity Hockenberry. This student’s artwork is untitled.

“The creativity of our youth in House District 50 continues to inspire. This particular piece will be seen by thousands of Ohioans as they visit and carry out work in the Ohio legislature” said Hagan, “This gallery illustrates just how beautifully diverse and talented students in our State are and it is something to be proud of.”

The exhibition is open to the public at the Vern Riffe Center for Government and the Arts in the lower level Statehouse connector through December 30, 2016.

The Ohio House of Representatives, Ohio Arts Council, and Ohio Art Education Association joined together for this inaugural student exhibition, which showcases high school artwork from all 99 Ohio House Districts. The exhibition recognizes the talents, creativity, and innovation of students who receive high quality arts education instruction as part of their academic experience in school and represents art by some of Ohio's finest high school artists.
