COLUMBUS—State Representative Christina Hagan (R-Marlboro Township) is happy to announce that Kaitlin Kaye, a student from North Canton, is interning in her office over the summer to learn more about state government and assisting constituents in the 50th House District.

Kaye is a student at The Ohio State University, where she will begin her junior year in the fall and is majoring in international relations and diplomacy with a second major in world politics. She graduated from North Canton Hoover High School in 2015.

“We are proud to welcome a native of Stark County and House District 50 to our office,” Rep. Hagan said. “It is a pleasure to have an intern of Kaitlin’s caliber and to see her passion for the community and state as she volunteers her time.”

As an intern in the Columbus office, Kaye will play an active role on a variety of projects, including working with constituents in coordination with Rep. Hagan, researching various policy areas and helping to facilitate meetings.

“It is a pleasure to work in an office where there are so many great opportunities to witness the legislative process first hand,” Kaye said. “Representative Hagan is someone who I look up to personally so I am honored to assist in the operations of her office.”
