State Representative Christina Hagan (R-Alliance) today honored Lake Local School District on its 2015 Energy Project of the Year Award. “Lake Schools have a tradition of excellence, today we are honored to recognize all of the professionals who work day in and day out to exceed the norm and make a substantial difference in our community,” said Rep. Hagan. “It is an exciting endeavor to implement upgrades that have resulted in an almost 60% reduction in energy usage within just one year. I am proud of Lake Local Schools as recipients of the 2015 Energy Project of the Year Award, and look forward to their future accomplishments.”

According to Lake Local schools, some of the other local facilities included in the energy savings project were the community center, school administrative offices, the Lake Community YMCA, Mercy Medical Center, Lake Community Library,  the Lake Township Chamber of Commerce office, the athletic complex, and the district bus garage. This energy conservation project totaled 688,992 total square feet.

CCG Energy Solutions helped Lake Local Schools reach their goal by upgrading lighting, building automation, HVAC, and infrastructure upgrades.
