With May 21st being National Waitstaff Day, State Representative Christina Hagan (R-Alliance) made the following statement:



“As someone who waits tables, myself, I feel it is important to recognize the many dedicated waiters and waitresses who we have in Stark County, throughout Ohio and across the country. National Waitstaff Day, although not well known, is an opportunity to highlight their continued service to restaurant customers, which many of them perform selflessly and with a smile each and every day. I want my fellow servers to know that what they do is very much appreciated and that their work plays a very special role in our society and economy.


“Working at a restaurant has been one of the joys of my life, which is why I continue to do it. Waiters and waitresses are driven by a desire to serve others, and the people they meet through their work provide lasting memories.
