In Casey’s family, public service is a way of life. His grandfather, father, brother, brother-in-law, and wife Amanda all served or are serving in the armed forces. He has always strived to actively engage in his community. In Dayton, he was recognized as a ‘Top 40 Under 40’ Community Leader and has been more recently recognized as one of ’30 for the Future’ by the Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce. In 2015 he was elected to serve on Hudson City Council, where he worked every day to make a positive impact for his constituents.

State Rep. Casey Weinstein (D-Hudson) today announced the unanimous passage of House Bill (HB) 133, bipartisan legislation joint-sponsored by Rep. Rick Perales (R-Beavercreek) that will allow for the issuing of temporary occupational licenses to active duty service members and their spouses living in Ohio as a result of undergoing a permanent change of station.

Weinstein’s whose child is hard-of-hearing and members of Let Ohio Hear to discuss House Bill (HB) 243, which supports early stage intervention for deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals by making hearing aids for children more affordable for Ohio families.
