State Representative Brian Hill (R-Zanesville) was named the “Legislator of the Year” by the Ohio Farmers Union during its 82nd annual state convention.


Rep. Hill accepted the award during the organization’s 82nd annual state convention on January 30th in Columbus.


“I am honored to be presented with this award and to represent farmers, big and small, throughout the state of Ohio,” said Rep. Hill.


Hill raises beef cattle and grows crops at the family farm he co-owns and has helped manage since 1980. In the Ohio House, he chairs the Agriculture & Rural Development Committee.

State Representative Brian Hill (R-Zanesville) today was sworn in as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives for the 130th General Assembly. He represents the 97th Ohio House District, which includes Guernsey and most of Muskingum County.
