COLUMBUS -

Speaker of the Ohio House Clifford A. Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) has appointed State Representative Brian Hill (R-Zanesville) to serve on three House standing committees, including as chair of the Agriculture and Rural Development Committee.

In addition, Hill will serve on the Public Utilities Committee and the Energy and Natural Resources Committee.

“I am very pleased with the appointments of Speaker Rosenberger,” Hill said. “I believe that my membership on each of these committees will give me a better opportunity to serve the needs of the 97th District.”

Hill raises beef cattle and grows crops at the family farm he co-owns and has helped manage with his father since 1980. Beginning his second full term in the House, Hill represents Guernsey County and parts of Muskingum County.
