Today, Speaker of the Ohio House Clifford A. Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) appointed Rep. Bill Reineke (R-Tiffin) as vice chair of the House Government Accountability & Oversight Committee.


"I look forward to working with Chairman Blessing to serve the citizens of our state. They deserve government that is transparent and functioning at the highest level," Rep. Reineke said. "I appreciate the trust Speaker Rosenberger has in my ability to help lead the committee."


Representative Bill Reineke is currently serving his second term as state representative. He represents the 88th Ohio House District, which includes all of Sandusky County and portions of Seneca County.

State Representative Bill Reineke (R-Tiffin) applauded the Ohio House’s concurrence on Senate changes to House Bill 123, legislation sponsored by Reps. Kyle Koehler (R-Springfield) and Michael Ashford (D-Toledo). The bipartisan bill will reform the state’s payday lending industry and is aimed at lowering interest rates on loans and helping borrowers avoid endless debt cycles.
