COLUMBUS— State Representative Beth Liston (D-Dublin) today announced the passage of House Bill (HB) 13, Democratic priority legislation to create the Ohio Residential Broadband Expansion Program, specifically designed to bring broadband to unserved residential households.

HB 13 combines efforts by government and private enterprise with the goal of expanding broadband connectivity to unserved households across Ohio.

‘Now more than ever, it is critical that all people in Ohio have access to reliable internet,” said Liston.

The bill now moves to the Senate for further consideration.
