COLUMBUS - 

State Representative Anthony DeVitis (R-Green) honored Andrew Newman, Dominic Vitrano, and Josh Hendricksfor winning Gold Medals at the 2015 World Jiu-Jitsu Confederation International Championships. DeVitis presented the three honorees with a resolution during the Ohio House session for their accomplishments.


Additionally, DeVitis presented a resolution to Joshua Hillman, owner and coach of the Cuyahoga Falls Team USA Training Center for Martial Arts, for winning three gold medals at the 2015 World Jiu-Jitsu Confederation International Champion and for  being named the strength and conditioning coach for the USA National Jiu-Jitsu Team.


“It was an honor to host and present the resolutions for these remarkable individuals,” said DeVitis, “Not only do they strive to achieve individually, they work tirelessly with local, at risk youths and others that are recovering from addiction by offering them physical and moral support.  Thank you for all you do.”


Also in attendance for the presentation was Stephanie Messmore, Justin Jones, and Rob Shreeve who all medaled in the Jiu-Jitsu championship tournament.
