COLUMBUS - 

State Representative Anthony DeVitis (R-Green) yesterday was sworn in as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives for the 131st General Assembly. He represents the 36th Ohio House District, which includes portions of southern Summit County.


“It is truly an honor to again have the opportunity to represent the people of House District 36,” Rep. DeVitis said.  “I am looking forward to serving the needs of the district and the State of Ohio.”


Representative DeVitis previously served as a member of Green City Council and is a co-owner of three businesses: DeVitis and Sons, Inc, an Italian specialty retail store; Devico, LLC, a real estate partnership; and DeVitis Fine Italian Foods, LLC., a food distribution company.


He has lived in Green for the past 20 years and has two children with his wife of 27 years, Kathleen.
