Ohio Legislative Black Caucus Members To Speak At Regional Conference For Top Ladies Of Distinction

State Representative and President of the Ohio Legislative Black Caucus Alicia Reece (D-Cincinnati) and House Democratic Leader Tracy Maxwell Heard (D-Columbus) will speak at the Top Ladies of Distinction Area V 39th Annual Conference on Saturday, November 9 at 9:00 a.m. in Columbus. 

Rep. Reece will speak to members of the organization about the need for a Voter Bill of Rights constitutional amendment.  Leader Heard will address running for office. They will be joined by another member of the Ohio Legislative Black Caucus, State Senator Charleta B. Tavares (D-Columbus), who will address women’s rights.

For almost 50 years, the Top Ladies of Distinction have worked within the community to provide scholarships to deserving students, enhance the status of women, work for the rights of senior citizens, promote community beautification and build community partnerships.
