Grand Masters Olmstead, Reece and Lindner helped organize a national meeting to create mutual recognition among black and white Masons. This summit led to a formal compact in 1995, changing the history of Masonry by creating a camaraderie between the two Masonic groups and allowing them the opportunity to work together on projects and programs.
