State Rep. Al Cutrona (R-Canfield) had the opportunity to attend the “Diversity, Policing and Progress” Forum regarding race relations. Cutrona addressed the residents of the area while at the event.

“As the new state representative of Mahoning Valley, I bestowed it upon myself to show up to this great event,” said Cutrona. “I took the time to introduce myself and met with both residents and community leaders as we had a healthy and productive conversation regarding the important issues of race, policing and civil justice.”

Other community leaders in attendance included Canfield Mayor Richard Duffett and Police Chief Chuck Colucci.

The forum took place Thursday evening at Fair Park where nearly 50 residents attended the event.
