07.13.20 - Cutrona Announces Controlling Board Approval Of School Funding For Mahoning County

 

State Rep. Al Cutrona (R-Canfield) announces the State Controlling Board has approved the release of coronavirus relief aid to support local schools across Mahoning County as they prepare for the start of the upcoming school year. 

 
 

07.10.20 - Cutrona Attends 'Diversity, Policing, And Progress' Forum

 

State Rep. Al Cutrona (R-Canfield) had the opportunity to attend the “Diversity, Policing and Progress” Forum regarding race relations. Cutrona addressed the residents of the area while at the event.

A week after his visit from Lordstown Motors, State Rep. Al Cutrona (R-Canfield) made another visit, this time with United States Vice President Mike Pence for the unveiling of the Endurance electric pickup truck.

Today, State Rep. Al Cutrona (R-Canfield) was appointed by Speaker Larry Householder (R-Glenford) to several House committees. Cutrona will now serve on the House committees for Criminal Justice, Health, and Agriculture and Rural Development.

 
 

06.19.20 - Local Project Financing And COVID-19 Relief Funding Legislation Signed Into Law

 

Today, State Rep. Al Cutrona (R-Canfield) announces House Bill 481 was signed into law by Governor Mike DeWine. Cutrona supported the legislation last week when it was unanimously passed by the House. The bill will continue capital reappropriations financing and federal COVID-19 relief funding.

 
 

06.17.20 - Cutrona Visits Lordstown Motors, Excited For 'Endurance' Unveiling

 

State Rep. Al Cutrona (R-Canfield) visited Lordstown Motors to tour the plant and understand more about the jobs growth it may bring to the Mahoning Valley. Cutrona acknowledged his enthusiasm for next week’s Endurance pickup truck unveiling.

 
 

06.11.20 - Cutrona, Ohio House Approve Bipartisan Bills

 

Today, State Rep. Al Cutrona (R-Canfield) voted to support and pass several bipartisan bills within the Ohio House. Two of them, House Bills 481 and 614, had strong bipartisan support. 

 
 

06.09.20 - Cutrona Adds Amendment Honoring Don Manning, Passes House

 

Today, House Bill 616 passed unanimously out of the Ohio House, which included a designation of a road to honor the late State Rep. Don Manning. Manning passed away while in office back in March.

 
 

06.05.20 - Cutrona Supports Local Project Financing And COVID-19 Relief Funding

 

State Rep. Al Cutrona (R-Canfield) voted to support Senate Bill 310, which will provide continued capital reappropriations financing and federal COVID-19 relief funding. The legislation passed in the Ohio House and Cutrona acknowledged how this support will positively impact the region.

State Rep. Al Cutrona (R-Canfield) today supported House Bill 253, which makes several changes to the fireworks law across the state. The Ohio House passed the legislation and Cutrona indicated his support of the bill.

 
 

05.28.20 - Alessandro 'Al' Cutrona Selected To Fill 59th Ohio House Seat

 

Today, Speaker Larry Householder (R-Glenford) announced that Alessandro “Al” Cutrona (R-Canfield) was chosen by the selection committee to represent the 59th Ohio House District, which covers most of Mahoning County. Cutrona will replace the late Don Manning, who sadly passed away on March 20, 2020.
