Speaker of the Ohio House William G. Batchelder (R-Medina) has appointed State Representative Al Landis (R-Dover) to serve as vice chair of the House Military & Veterans Affairs Committee.

He will also serve on the Agriculture & Natural Resources and the Commerce, Labor and Technology committees.

“I am very pleased with the new committee assignments that I have received,” said Rep. Landis. “I consider it an honor to serve on the Military and Veterans committee and am privileged to have an active role in ensuring that we are putting forth legislation that will best serve our veterans. Taking care of our service members, who have given so much on the account of others, will continue to be this committee’s top priority.”

State Representative Al Landis is serving his second term in the Ohio House of Representatives. He represents the 98th District, which includes Tuscarawas County and a portion of Holmes County.
