On Sunday, State Representative Al Landis (R-Dover) will be honoring ten members of the Dover VFW Honor Guard for their many years of service.

It will take place at the First Moravian Church in Dover on Sunday, November 5th at 10:30 a.m. It is open to the public.

“I am looking forward to the opportunity of personally expressing my gratitude and congratulations to the members of the Dover VFW Honor Guard,” Landis said. “It is because of people like them that we will always remember and humbly appreciate just how fortunate we are to live in the United States of America. This event is a small token of appreciation for their patriotism and service. I also want to thank Pastor John Wallace for hosting this wonderful event and for inviting me to take part in it.”

The event will pay tribute to the Honor Guard members for all of the time and energy they devote to showing support and gratitude at graveside services for the men and women who sacrificed their lives defending our country.
