COLUMBUS—State Representative Al Landis (R-Dover) yesterday was sworn in as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives for the 132nd General Assembly. He represents the 98th Ohio House District, which includes Tuscarawas County and a portion of Holmes County. This will be his fourth term serving as state representative.

"Being sworn in for my fourth and final term in the Ohio House means so much to me and my family,” Rep. Landis said. “It is my honor and my pleasure to continue to serve the people and families of our district. Six years have gone by very quickly and I am ready to go to work in the 132nd General Assembly.”

Rep. Landis is a Tuscarawas County native and retired after 33 years of service to Greer Steel Company, located in Dover. Representative Landis is a lifetime member of the NRA, member of Ohio Farm Bureau, and a member of the Tuscarawas County and Holmes County Chambers of Commerce. He previously served on the Dover Township Board of Zoning Appeal and currently serves on the Tuscarawas County Republican Party’s Executive Committee.
