We in the Ohio House have been working on the state budget since the governor released his proposal in February. We took a huge step in the process last month when our version of the budget bill was passed in the Ohio House with bipartisan support. While other portions of the state budget such as the Transportation and Public Safety budget were passed and signed into law months ago, Am. Sub. H.B. 64 is the major piece of budget legislation. It is now in the Ohio Senate for continued evaluation, and will be returning to the House soon for concurrence.

COLUMBUS - 

State Representative Al Landis (R-Dover) has announced that the Ohio Legislative Service Commission is accepting applications for its 13-month Legislative and Telecommunications Fellowship Program. The commission, which works closely with the legislative caucuses of the Ohio General Assembly, will hire 20-plus fellows to work with members and staff at the Ohio House of Representatives and Ohio Senate during 2014.
