State Representative Ron Maag (R-Lebanon) today applauded the passage of House Bill 47. This bill authorizes the creation of an outdoor refreshment area by the legislative authority of a municipal corporation or township with a population of more than 35,000 people.

03.19.15 - Rep. Maag Announces Ohio House Passage Of Bill To Reduce State Oil And Gas Regulatory Delays

 
COLUMBUS -

State Representative Ron Maag (R-Lebanon) has announced that the Ohio House of Representatives passed legislation to strengthen and protect the property rights of individuals wishing to benefit from the oil and gas resources on their land, as well as establishing a timeline for which applications for unitization must be handled by the state. Currently, the Department of Natural Resources has ten unit applications that have been submitted, but have yet to receive an answer from the state.
