State Representative Jim Butler is currently serving his second elected term as a member of

the Ohio House of Representatives.  He represents the 41st House District in Montgomery

County (Centerville, Kettering, Oakwood and portions of Riverside and Dayton). 

Representative Butler is the Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee.  He also serves on

the House Health and Aging Committee and the Government Accountability and Oversight Committee.

COLUMBUS—The Ohio House of Representatives today passed House Bill 198, legislation that changes how local infrastructure projects are funded by providing property owners with the option of not having their property included as part of a Tax Increment Financing (TIF) incentive district.
