The Ohio House of Representatives passed House Bill 74 yesterday with broad bipartisan support. HB 74, sponsored by State Representative Andrew O. Brenner (R-Powell), would revise the state assessments and examinations given to Ohio’s students.

 
 

03.18.15 - House Passes Legislation To Create Domestic Relations Division In The Delaware County Court Of Common Pleas

State Representatives Andy Brenner (R- Powell) and Margaret Ann Ruhl (R-Mount Vernon) applauded the Ohio House’s passage of House Bill 11, legislation that seeks to add a judgeship to the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas, which currently has two judges. The new judge would be elected in 2016 and would serve as the judge of the domestic relations division.

State Representative Andrew Brenner (R-Delaware) applauded today’s Ohio House passage of House Bill 7, legislation that provides academic protections for students taking new state assessments during the 2014-15 school year. New assessments in mathematics and English language arts are supplied by the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC).
