The Ohio House passed House Bill 40 today, sponsored by Representatives Anne Gonzales (R-Westerville) and Jonathan Dever (R-Cincinnati). This bill is designed to improve accountability related to continuing education requirements for medical professionals by giving the State Medical Board the ability to fine and regulate the certificates to practice.

State Representatives Mike Dovilla (R-Berea) and Wes Retherford (R-Hamilton) today announced that the Ohio House of Representatives passed House Bill 24, the Ohio Elder Justice Act, legislation which would strengthen the laws protecting elders from abuse, neglect, and financial exploitation.

State Representative Bob Hackett (R-London) today applauded the passage of Ohio House Bill 52, which is the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) Budget for FY 2016 and 2017.
